Rhonda Ramona Bussell Haggard, 55, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Friday, March 22, 2024, at Arbor Baptist Church in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Dr. Lloyd Stembridge officiating. Bridget Corley will deliver the eulogy. Interment will follow in the Mystic Cemetery, in Irwin County, Georgia. The family will receive friends Thursday evening, from 6 PM until 8 PM, at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Ms. Haggard was born March 11, 1969, in Albany, Georgia, to the late Charles Ronald & Jacqueline “Jackie” Hutchens Bussell. She graduated in 1988 from Irwin County High School and in 2015 she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Rural Studies from ABAC. Ms. Haggard was a waitress at Peck’s Place in Ocilla, she enjoyed reality TV, hot chocolate and her fur babies. Her children were her heart. Ms. Haggard was a member of Arbor Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children: Steven Haggard of Fitzgerald and Nikki Haggard Chadwick & Justin of Pace, Florida and her sisters: Bridget Corley & Emory of Cairo and Kim Russell & Sam of Soperton. Many nieces, nephews and great nephews also survive.
