Carolyn Hopper Vanderzee, 63, of Clearwater, Florida passed away Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater, Florida. A memorial service was held for Mrs. Vanderzee at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Born February 14, 1943, in Columbus, Mrs. Vanderzee was the daughter of the late Harold McLain Hopper and Eunice Elizabeth Marchant Hopper. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Vanderzee, who passed away in 1975. She worked as a medical records secretary at a hospital in Clearwater, Florida.
Among Mrs. Vanderzee's survivors is her daughter, Vicki Vanderzee of King, North Carolina; and a brother, Buster Hopper of Columbus.
