Donna Michelle Clegg Vassey, 38, of Lenox passed away Saturday, October 30, 2004, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 3, 2004, at Alpha Baptist Church in Leesburg with the Rev. Joe Jenkins officiating. Mrs. Vassey was laid to rest at Leesburg Cemetery.
Thomas Steverson, Mike Baker, Keith Buchan, Randy Curles, Jeff Farmer and Mike Farmer served as pallbearers.
Born August 30, 1966, in Albany, Mrs. Vassey was the daughter of William Clegg, Jr. of Tifton and Helen Howell Guilbeau of Leesburg. She was formerly employed with Fleetwood Homes as a salesperson; and she was a member of Alpha Baptist Church in Leesburg.
In addition to her parents. Mrs. Vassey is survived by her husband, Allen Vassey of Lenox; one step-daughter, Amada Vassey of Rebecca; two brothers, Brent Clegg and Greg Clegg, both of Leesburg; and one sister, Angela Sarvis of Sharpsburg.
