William Edgar Trevena, Sr., 76, of Buchanan passed away Tuesday, April 6, 2004, in Bremen. A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Trevena at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2004, at Oak Ridge Cemetery, where he was laid to rest. The Rev. John S. Gibbs, Sr. officiated.
Born January 13, 1928, in Washington County, Mr. Trevena was the son of the late James Trevena and Mary Elizabeth Gooding Trevena. Before retiring, he was an installer with R. B. Delk Tile Company in Tifton; and he was a member of Tifton's First Assembly of God. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Trevena is survived by his wife, Edna Stephens Trevena of Buchanan; one son and daughter-n-law, Billy and Laura Trevena of Fitzgerald; and one sister, Jeanette Koon of Jacksonville, Florida.
