Mark Evans, 45, of Tifton, died Wednesday, July 12, 2006, at his residence. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church. Rev. Morris Gaines will officiate with a private burial to be held at a later date. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the River of Life Church.
Mr. Evans was born on November 4, 1960 in Tifton and was the son of Wilbur E. Evans and Lonnie Pearl Myers Evans Richardson, both deceased. He was disabled, but had worked as a truck driver and former manager of Steak 'N Shake. He was a member of River of Life Church.
Mr. Evans is survived by one son, Dustin Evans of Lyons; two daughters, Candace Evans of Crossville, Tennessee and Renee Evans; one sister, Carol Hutt Wise of Baxley; three grandchildren, Korey Meisner, Austin Meisner and Alex Meisner; and special friends, Marcy Rob erts, Jeannette Shelton Washington and Jessica Meisner.
