LACONIA ---- Dawn Laurie Campbell, 70, of Strafford Street, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024, at her home with family at her side.
Dawn was born in 1953, in Waterville Valley, ME, the daughter of Norman and Marilyn (Grendell) Rich. The family lived in the Skowhegan, ME area. Dawn has 6 siblings, Cynthia and Walter Balinski, Michael Rich, Marcy and Wiley III Sifford, Robin and David Vivona, Andrew and Vickie Rich, and David and Kathleen Rich.
Her family moved to Holderness, NH when she was in high school where she met her husband, Duncan S. Campbell, Jr. They were married for 49 years. She graduated from Plymouth Regional High School and attended Brigham Young University. She worked at a number of jobs; the last one for the Franklin VNA.
Dawn was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and worked with Cub Scouts and the Church’s young girls’ camping program.
Dawn had been disabled for the last 18 years, but stayed active until the last few years.
Dawn was the mother of 6 children, Duncan III and April, Ryan and Elisha, Neil and Amanda, Aric and Yang, Tia and Marcus Dalton, and Keiri and Joe Day. She has 23 grandchildren.
