Frederick C. Johnson, III peacefully passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024 at his home in Londonderry, NH, surrounded by his beloved family. Born on May 23, 1942, in Lawrence, MA, he was the cherished son of the late Frederick C. Johnson, Jr. and Mildred (Towne) Johnson. Fred called Londonderry home for 49 years, having previously resided in Andover, MA.
Fred dedicated his career to Hewlett-Packard in Andover, MA, where he served as a respected supervisor in the machine shop. Outside of work, he found joy in classic cars, often attending car shows, and was known for his passion for solving puzzles.
He leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion, survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Diane (Bridge) Johnson of Londonderry; two sons, David W. Johnson and his wife Lynne of Londonderry, and Brian Johnson and his wife Claudine of Londonderry; three grandchildren, Andrew, Caitlyn, and Ryan; his brother, Gerald Johnson and his wife Sharon of Londonderry; as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, William Johnson.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Wednesday, March 20th from 4 - 6:00pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, located at 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. A funeral service will follow at 6:00pm in the funeral home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 2nd at 10:00am at Pillsbury Cemetery, Hovey Rd., Londonderry.
