Madeline Teresa (Giargiari)) Santaniello, 87, of Franklin died March 15 at the Alliance Health at Maples in Wrentham. She was the wife of the late Joseph B. Santaniello, Sr.
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 28, 1936, the daughter of the late Carmelo and Rachel (Dalo)Giargiari, Mrs. Santaniello was raised in Philadelphia and came to Franklin in 2022.
Madeline’s favorite things were singing, especially to her children when they were little and every generation after. Dancing, listening to music, enjoying good food, cake and coffee, but most of all her biggest joy was being surrounded by her family.
She is survived by her children, Joseph B. Santaniello Jr, Teresa M. Santaniello, John E. Santaniello and his wife Anne.
She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leslie Ann Kadlick and her husband Joseph, Gabrielle Santaniello, Lucia Santaniello, and Luca Santaniello
She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Olivia, Lila and JoJo.
Madeline was also survived by her siblings, Anna Marie Cannistraci and Carmelo Giargiari, and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Alliance at Maples, especially Gina Brouwer, for the exceptional care and compassion Madeline received while there.
A memorial mass will be held in Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Madeline’s memory to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI).
