SULLIVAN, WILLIAM S. Of North Falmouth, formerly of
Cambridge, Brookline, and Jamaica Plain, passed away on
February 29, 2024. Beloved son of the late Lawrence and
Dorothy (Slater) Sullivan. Brother of the late June (Slater/Lunt)
Howland and Lawrence Sullivan. Uncle of Thomas and Nancy
Howland of Georgetown, and Lloyd Howland of Seabrook, NH.
William was much loved by his grand nephews and niece;
Nathanael Howland & wife Liu Ping, Jonathan Howland, and
Jennifer (Howland) Miner & Joel Miner. He will also be missed by
his great grand nieces Clara and Linnea Howland.
Also known as “Boo” and “Slug” to his special friends he leaves
his very close friends Debra Garren, Gustavo Sagastume,
Armando Sagastume, and Nelly Sagastume.
He was also a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran from 1956-1962. In lieu
of flowers please give an act of kindness to a stranger.
A visitation will be held on Friday, March 29th at the P.E. Murray -
F.J. Higgins, George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home 2000 Centre
St. West Roxbury from 10-11AM, followed by a Funeral Service in
the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Relatives and friends are
kindly invited. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery,
Jamaica Plain.
