Deanna J. First, 56, of Anderson, passed away Saturday, March 9, 2024 at Edgewater Woods.
She was born on March 28, 1967 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Dick D. First and Mary Charlotte (Hutchinson) First. She was a graduate of Highland High School and attended Anderson University. She attended Ovid Community Church and her strong faith in God sustained her throughout her lifetime. Deanna loved teaching Sunday School and conducting Bible studies. She enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking, baking, and family genealogy. She was also a collector of Bibles and children’s books.
She is survived by her siblings Steve (Rebecca) First of Anderson, Kathi (N. Edward) Ross of Illinois, Karen (Kelly) Markin of Virginia, Kristina Smith of Anderson and many nieces and nephews.
She was proceeded in death by her parents and her brother Davin First.
Following cremation her ashes will be placed near her parents in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, Ohio.
Memorial contributions may be given to Ovid Community Church.
