Neil Sullivan, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on March 13, 2024. He was 72 years old.
Born on July 8, 1951 to Robert and Mildred (Cook) Sullivan, Neil grew up in Avon and Brockton before settling in Rockland. He was known for his unwavering work ethic, witty personality, passion for music and drawing, and dedication to his family and his faith. Whether strumming his guitar, simply humming or belting out a tune, music was his constant companion and source of solace. Amidst his fervor for music, Neil held an even greater devotion to his family. As a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather he cherished every moment spent with his loved ones, creating memories filled with laughter, love and warmth. In addition, Neil was known for his kind heart, gentle spirit and his quick wit. His presence illuminated the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. Throughout his life, Neil lived out his faith with grace and integrity. His deep rooted faith served as a guiding light, providing him with strength during life’s trials and joy during its triumphs.
Neil is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Behan) Sullivan; his devoted children, Tara Pandolfi and her husband Craig, Lindsay Sullivan and Matthew Sullivan; cherished grandchildren, Morgan, Sophia and Alexandra Pandolfi, brothers, sisters, several nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
A mass for a celebration of Neil’s life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 at 11am at Church of the Vine, 5 Wareham Street, Carver Mass 02330. The service will be streamed live at www.thevinecarver.com The family kindly requests that donations be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital in lieu of flowers.
Though Neil may no longer be with us in person, his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. May he rest in eternal peace, reunited with the loved ones who have gone before him.
