Edward Joseph Osborne, 55, of Milford formerly of Franklin died peacefully February 23 at Milford Regional Medical center.
Born in Cambridge, August 19,1968, the son of Ming (Chin) Osborne of Franklin and the late Kenneth Osborne, Edward was raised in Franklin and had lived in Milford for the past 12 years.
In his earlier years, Edward enjoyed competing in Special Olympics events and especially loved swimming in his mom’s pool. He always loved anything to do with Sesame Street and was a big fan of super heroes particularly Superman, Spiderman and the Incredible Hulk. Eddie had an incredible appetite for food and would always tell you that he was hungry. He was the cutest when bossing people around directing anyone who would listen to get him a soda, a drink, lunch, oatmeal or any of his many favorite foods. He very well may have single handedly kept Tab soda on supermarket shelves for many years. Eddie would always remind you that Friday was pizza day and loved his weekend trips to his mom’s and then to McDonald’s. Eddie had a great way of making those around him laugh. He loved to be tickled and had a big laugh. He looked forward to his birthday throughout the year and would often ask you what August 19th was. Seeing his genuine excitement every time he found one of many sodas wrapped with birthday or Christmas gifts was absolutely adorable. Eddie was a beautiful person who touched many people in such a positive way. He will be forever missed.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his brother Martin Osborne of Cohasset.
As per the family's request, no funeral or memorial service will be held.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to the Special Olympics (specialolympics.org).
Arrangements are under the care of the Ginley Funeral Home of Frankin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
