Bonito Reid 81, formally of 52 Redding St, Hartford CT. transitioned peacefully at Hartford Hospital with his family in attendance on February 14, 2024.
Bonito was the loving husband to The late Bessie Mae Riggens Reid who passed April 25, 2002.
Bonito, “Bunny” to his family and friends, was born in Colonel Ridge, Clarendon Jamaica to the late William Reid and the late Gertrude Sinclair.
Bonito leaves Step-Sons Cleveland P. Jenkins Jr., Christopher P. Jenkins, many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews in both Jamaica and The United States, and many friends.
Services will be held March 14, 2024, at Hartford Community Funeral Home & Cremation 380 Maple Avenue Hartford CT. Calling Hours 11:00 AM and Funeral 12:00 AM. Internment Mountain View Cemetery, Bloomfield Ct.
