Leonie Pierre-Louis was born in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti. She moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1974. She was a caring mother and provider. She extended her caring nature to the community in her career as a Hospital Assistant. She retired from the Walter E. Fernald Development Center in Waltham.
Leonie enjoyed time with family and extended family. She found comfort in music and her love of art. She shared her life experiences and her knowledge. Stressing the importance of education. The Catholic Church was a very important part of her life and her faith. She was Mom, Nana, and Ni-Ni to many, She will be missed leaving many hearts heavy. Her lessons will live forever.
Leonie is predeceased by her son Reginald Pierre-Louis. She is survived by her sister Ghislaine, her sons Steve Pierre-Louis, Philip Pierre-Louis (and spouse Pam), Brunel Pierre-Louis (and spouse Jeff), her grandchildren Keyara, Philip Jr., Sean, Kyle Pierre-Louis, Jeffrey Robbins, Matthew Tessier (and spouse Mandie), niece Cathy, nephew Gregory, and her extended family Daniel Thomas (predeceased), Justin (predeceased), Catherine, Geovani, Mireya, and Nevaeh Timberlake.
Viewing hours will be on Tuesday March 19, 2024 from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass from 11-12 PM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 1548 Blue Hill Ave, Mattapan, MA. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, 45 Fairview Ave, Hyde Park, MA.
