Deanne M. (Debois) Cunningham, a resident of Charlestown and formerly of Boca Raton, Florida and Floral Park, New York, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 10, 2024, at the Whidden Hospital in Everett. She was 81 years of age.
Deanne was born in Brooklyn, New York on September 7, 1942, a daughter of the late George Debois and Evelyn (Struck) Debois. She grew up in Floral Park, New York where she was educated and graduated from Floral Park Memorial High School. Deanne worked for many years as a Sales Associate for Sterns Department Store and JC Penny both in the Floral Park area of New York and then also worked for JC Penny in Pompano Beach Florida. Deanne was always there to lend a helping hand to anyone in need and she enjoyed spending time with family and friends during many social events and was always known for her taste of fashion. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading on the beach and was certainly an avid lover of chocolate.
Deanne is the devoted mother of Kathleen Doherty and her husband Massport Firefighter Edward Doherty and James Cunningham. She is the beloved sister of Frederick Debois. She is also survived by several loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Deanne's Funeral on Friday morning, March 15, 2024, at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial is private. Her visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 14, 2024, from 4 to 7 P.M. in the funeral home.
