DUDLEY – Wlodzimierz Orlowski, 76, died Saturday, March 9, 2024 in Saint Vincent Hospital, Worcester after in the presence of his family.
He leaves his wife of 31 years, Janina (Podlaszewska) Orlowska; a daughter, Izabela Orlowska; a grandson, Tomasz Orlowski of Berlin, Germany; a brother, Janusz Orlowski of Poland.
He was born on December 2, 1947 in Walbrzych, Poland to Zdzislaw and Wanda (Strozynska) Orlowski and graduated from a high school there. He later earned an associate degree from Assumption University. He emigrated to this area in the early 1980’s.
In Poland, Mr. Orlowski was an office clerk. Here, he worked at Anglo Fabrics Company in Webster and then was an accountant.
He was a member of Saint Andrew Bobola Church. He loved to read, especially history and National Geographic Magazine.
His funeral will be held on Thursday, March 14, from the Sitkowski, Malboeuf & Hickey Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster, with a Mass at 11:00 AM in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb street, Webster. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. Visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:30 AM Thursday in the funeral home, prior to the Mass.
