Grandmother of Emily (Angelo) Amico, Jeff (Kate) Davis, Laura (Eric) Simas; Jessica (Chris) Joyce; Meghan (Todd) Dundas; Matt (Vanessa) Orlando; Julie (Adam) Loudermilk, Christopher (Michelle) Schell; Alison and Nick Collias; Connor, Braden, and Emma O’Hara. Great-grandmother of Mary, Michael, and AJ Amico; Benjamin and Lucy Davis; Taylor Simas; Coleman and Kayla Joyce; Raigan and Nolan Loudermilk; Olivia, Samantha, and Raegan Orlando. Also survived by her brother, Bill Noffsinger, of Perth, Western Australia. Daughter of the late Bernard F. McGuire and Eugenia (Garavaglia) McGuire.
Born in St Louis, Bonnie married Samuel N. Schell and, together with their growing family, moved to several locations including Aurora, IL, Princeton, NJ, Evanston, IL, and Wellesley, MA. Bonnie was a homemaker, raising her wonderful family of five children, and then later spending time with her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her large and loving family was her passion, and she was proud of how tight-knit the many generations remained. She cherished her time spent with family. Her home was the center of all family festivities, where the family gathered to celebrate holidays, birthdays, and other life events. A long-time resident of Wellesley, Bonnie was a member of the Wellesley Country Club, where she enjoyed playing tennis and golf and socializing with her many dear friends. An avid bridge player, Bonnie played competitively with several groups over the years. She also loved spending time at her home in Scottsdale, AZ, where she wintered for over 10 years. She enjoyed entertaining her family and friends in both Wellesley and Scottsdale. Bonnie was a real personality and impacted people from all walks of her life in a special way. She had a great sense of humor, and relished her nights out with friends, a glass of Sauvignon Blanc, and all things chocolate.
A visitation will be held at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 477 Washington St. (Rt.16) Wellesley on Friday, March 15 from 9:30-10:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Paul’s Church, Wellesley at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Private burial in Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellesley.
