Sadly, we announce the passing of Rita, who went peacefully in her sleep to be reunited with loved ones: her sons, Ronnie, Jimmy, Wayne, and Dougie, her daughters, Carol, Debbie, Chrissy, and Sandy, her godson Anthony, her sister Lucy, brother Richard, first husband James Smith, and second husband Richard Stankus.
She leaves behind her brother Dave Beccoti and children Terry Smith, Robbie Smith, Shelly Flaherty, Scott Smith, and Greg and Linda Smith, her many loved grandchildren, Tara, Robert, Ronnie, Melisa, Candace, Sean, Shannon, David, Dougy, Nicky, Chris, Greg, Michael, Amanda, Shawna, and many many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and who will love and miss her very dearly.
Visiting hours will be held at The Casper Funeral Home, 187 Dorchester Street, South Boston Saturday March 16 from 2:00-4:00 P.M.
