ELEANOR MILLERICK
Eleanor M. Millerick (D’Alileo) of Stoneham, formerly of Charlestown passed away on Wednesday August 21, 2002. She was 83 years of age.
Born in Boston, Mrs. Millerick was a resident of Charlestown before moving to Stoneham. Upon graduating from Charlestown High School, she worked as a school secretary in the Boston School System for many years.
Eleanor had many hobbies she enjoyed. She loved to travel and was an avid gardener. Eleanor loved being with people. Her warm and friendly smile reflected the wonderful friendships she made over the years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She will be missed by all.
Eleanor was the beloved wife of 62 years to retired Boston Fire Fighter William C. Millerick. She was the loving mother of William C. Millerick Jr. and his wife Joy of California, Robert P. Millerick and his wife Polly of California, Henry P. Millerick and his wife Rosemarie of Stoneham, MA, John D. Millerick and his wife Karyn of Andover, MA, and Thomas P. Millerick. Eleanor was the devoted grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Mrs. Millerick also was the dear sister of Grace Campia of Wareham, MA, and the late Anthony, Henry, Arthur, Angelina D’Alileo, and Helene Flaherty.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours at the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (Rte. 28) STONEHAM on Friday 4-8pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Eleanor’s memory in St. Francis De Sales Church 313 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, MA at 10a.m. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham MA.
