GILFORD ---- Faith Gustafson, 91, of Annis Drive, passed away peacefully at her home, on Monday, March 4, 2024. Faith was surrounded by friends and family.
Faith was born on January 11, 1933, in Wellesley, MA, the daughter of Bernard and Mary (Goode) McLaughlin.
Faith enjoyed gardening and fishing and was a lifelong member of the church choir wherever she lived.
Faith was most notably employed by the city of Framingham, MA and the State of New Hampshire. Faith’s most favorite job by far was the last one she held at the Half Moon Gift Shop in Weirs Beach, where she worked with her close friend Cheryl Sharpe for 10 plus years until her retirement at age 80!
Faith is survived by her sons John Wagstaff and his wife Donna of Martha’s Vineyard, MA and David Wagstaff of Gilford, NH, as well as her grandson Travis Lee Wagstaff and her great granddaughter Jessie Wagstaff both of Holliston, MA. In addition to her parents, Faith is predeceased by her beloved husband Roy E. Gustafson and her son Charles ‘Chuck’ Wagstaff.
There will be no calling hours.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 15, 2024, at 10:00am, at St. Andre Bessette Parish - Sacred Heart Church, 291 Union Avenue, Laconia, NH 03246.
There will be a Celebration of Faiths Life at Hectors Restaurant, 53 Beacon Street West, Laconia, NH 03246, following the funeral mass.
Burial will be held at a later date in Wellesley, MA.
