Priscilla “Paddy" Nowell Morgan (February 13, 1943) was the beloved wife of Winston Morgan, mother to Kimberley Morgan Wong and Michael Morgan, mother-in-law to Jeffrey Wong and Lisa Champagne-Morgan, and grandmother to Ashley McCrone, Allison Wong, and Tyler Wong. By Ashley McCrone and Shaun Barske II, she had three great-grandchildren: Shaun Barske III, Brenden Barske, and Connor Barske.
Paddy grew up in Brookline, MA, where she graduated from Brookline High School and completed training at the Faulkner Hospital School of Nursing as a pediatric critical care nurse.
For a time, she was also a favorite troop leader for her local chapters of Brownies, Cub Scouts, and Girl Scouts. A devout Catholic, she was also a parishioner and taught Sunday School at Saint Mary’s in Norton, MA, for many years. Her nursing career also saw her in positions like school nurse for Joseph C. Solmonese School in Norton, Girl Scout camp nurse and counselor, home health care nurse, and pediatric nurse for a private practice.
She was also a co-owner and Vice President of Winston’s Auto Body Shop in its day. She loved her family, music, reading, puzzles, and nature. Paddy passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, at Morton Hospital in Taunton on March 5th, 2024 at 81 years old.
Paddy’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 9:45 am from the Silva Funeral Home 80 Broadway (at Saint Mary’s Square) Taunton, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in Saint Andrew the Apostle Church, Kilmer Avenue in Taunton. Interment will follow in Saint Francis Cemetery, Taunton.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, March 11th, 2024 from 5 to 7 pm in the Silva Funeral Home. Additional parking with handicap access is located on the North side of the funeral home.
