Patricia A. (Maglione) King, age 82, of Norton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth. She was the beloved wife of John N. King, Jr., to whom she was happily wed for sixty-two years.
Born in Everett, MA on January 18, 1942, she was a loving daughter of the late Peter and Ruth P. (Hodgdon) Maglione.
Pat grew up in Chelsea and was a 1960 graduate of Chelsea High School. She had made her home in Norton for the past fifty-five years.
Pat’s family was truly the focal point of her life. She was a dedicated homemaker and a familiar face at the Norton Town Hall, where she had formerly worked parttime in the Town Clerk’s Office.
While her daughters were growing up, Mrs. King was actively involved in their lives and she formerly served as a member of the Norton Parent Teachers Association. She enjoyed shopping, always had a special place in her heart for animals and proudly and generously donated to the MSPCA.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her devoted daughters: Deanna J. Peck and her husband Stephen of Plymouth and Tricia J. King of East Taunton.
She was the cherished grandmother of Ryan Peck and his wife Kelsey of Lakeville, Ashley Peck of Plymouth, Anthony Fratelli of East Taunton and Julia Fratelli of East Taunton. She was the dear sister of Ronald Maglione and his wife Joanne of Peabody and the late Peter Maglione. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Services and burial will be private and visiting hours are omitted.
