Paul Jeremy Jude Blais (PJ) was 49 years old when he passed away on Saturday, 2 March 2024, after a battle with throat cancer in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. PJ was born in Seoul, Korea on 10 March 1974 and lived in a foster home from birth until he was adopted at the age of three years old. Mr. Paul and Mrs. Marcia Blais (deceased 20 January 2024) were interested in adopting a young child from Southeast Asia for more than two years. In March 1977, their dreams came true when the World Family Agency aligned them with a Korean boy and sent him to Boston for the Blais family to adopt. PJ grew up in Blackstone, Massachusetts with his siblings: Jeffrey, Tanya, and Sarah. PJ graduated from Blackstone Valley Regional Vocational Technical High School in 1992. On 11 March 1993, PJ became a naturalized citizen at the United States District Court of Massachusetts in Boston. Throughout his life, PJ worked various occupations, mostly labor jobs. PJ loved caring for animals on a farm, fixing automobiles, doing landscaping, and worked at Stop & Shop grocery store. He had many outdoor hobbies which included camping, fishing, boating, going to the beach, and swimming in the ocean. PJ will be remembered as an active man who lived life like the ocean. You never could tell what he was up to next, just as the ocean waves ebb and flow, PJ lived an unpredictable life that was free flowing. The Blais family is grateful for the dedicated staff who provided PJ with care and dignity during his last months on hospice care.
