Christine (Castano) King
Christine King, 41, of Marlborough, MA, passed away at her home unexpectedly on Sunday, July 9, 2006.
She is survived by her husband of twenty years Joseph C. King of Marlboro.
Born in Newton, MA she is survived by her parents; James G. Castano and Josephine (Gentile) Castano of Hudson. She was raised in Hudson and was a graduate of Assabet Valley Vocational High School class of 1982.
She was employed as an ECO Coordinator at Stratus Computer in Maynard for a number of years.
Besides her husband and parents she leaves a daughter, Marina Rose King of Marlboro, two sisters;
Kathleen Castano Wilson and her husband David of Hudson, Corinne Castano Zizza and her husband Kieth of Shrewsbury, her brother James F. Castano and his wife Janet (Scott) of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Barbara King of Hudson, her sister-in-law Melanie Walker and husband Steve of Hudson, nieces: Amanda Walker, Lura Walker, and Kaitlan Wilson, and nephew Trevor Castano.
Christine will be remembered for being a devoted mother and loving wife, for her generosity to her family and friends, for being an avid fan of The Beatles and The Kinks, and for her love of animals.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 14, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. in Saint Michael’s Church, 21 Manning St. Hudson, MA. Calling hours will be held Thursday, July 13, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the TIGHE-HAMILTON FUNERAL HOME, INC. 50 Central St. Hudson, MA 01749. (www.tighehamilton.com)
Burial will be in Saint Michael Cemetery, Hudson.
