Bradley “Brad” Wilhelm Burke, passed away March 4, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
Brad, 48, was the devoted father of Bradley L. Burke, his pride and joy. Brad strived to teach Bradley all the things he knew and loved. Between working on vehicles and tractors, teaching him to drive his pick up truck and, of course, countless hours spent fishing together, their bond was immeasurable. He is survived by Bradley, along with Bradley’s mother, Annemarie Burke of Medway.
Brad grew up in Medway and lived most of his adult life in town. His absence will be deeply felt by his lifelong friends. He treasured his memories of trips with their mud trucks. He loved real country music and was forever fixing and building. Just like his Polish grandfather with whom he is now reunited, Brad never rested.
Brad was the beloved son of Edward Burke of Warwick, RI and Helena Wilhelm of Medway. He is survived by his sister, Lauren Novick, her husband Robert of Medway and their children C.J. and Sarah. He is survived by his younger brother, Garret Burke of Medway, and his children Morgan Burke Estrella of North Stratford, NH and Maddison Burke of Milford. Garret and Brad’s connection was extraordinary. He is also survived by his devoted partner and caregiver, Tami Vlass of Medway.
Brad worked for First Service Residential Management where he was the Maintenance Supervisor for Lakeview Gardens in Natick. He was incredibly loved by the owners, residents and staff at Lakeview Gardens and will be greatly missed.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 7th, from 4 - 7 pm at Ginley Crowley Funeral Home, 3 Barber Street in Medway (ginleyfuneralhomes.com).
Friends and relatives are invited to attend his funeral service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Oakland Street in Medway on Friday, March 8th at 11 am.
Should friends and family desire, in lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the savings account that has been opened in Brad's son's name at Digital Federal Credit Union, (DCU), 500 West Central Street, Franklin, MA 02038.
