East Waterboro - Jonathan “Jack” King, age 17, tragically passed away at his home, on March 1, 2024.
He was born November 19, 2006, in Milford, NH to Jonathan and Jennfier King. He attended Massabesic High School and enjoyed being part of the Navy JROTC. He was a Christian and attended Lakeside Community Church. He enjoyed his job and friends working in the kitchen at Waterboro Market and Cafe. He loved history, enjoyed camping, and had dreams of traveling the world. He loved to write, and, like most teenagers, enjoyed gaming. One of his favorite experiences was getting to visit Jamaica and enjoy the weather of a tropical island and experience its culture. He had a very kind heart and was quick to listen.
Jack is survived by his mother and father, stepmother, Amy King, stepfather, Scott Hodges, sister, Emma King, brothers Reese King, stepbrother, Jacob Plante, stepbrother Eric Plante and Eric’s wife, Rosa, his uncle, Rob King, and grandparents Pam and Rob King, and Claire Samples.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 11am, at Lakeside Community Church, 1248 Sokokis Trail, North Waterboro, ME. Online condolences can be submitted at www.mainefuneral.com.
