Yolanda (Di Martino) Di Girolamo of Winchester and Somerville, passed away on Saturday, March 2nd, at the Lahey Clinic of Burlington. Raised and educated in Medford and Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Angela Maria (Di Iorio) Di Martino. Yolanda graduated from Somerville High School, class of 1948, and worked in the Somerville Public Schools. In later years she worked with her husband and son in a family run real estate management company, The Di Girolamo Companies. She was very loving to her family and lived for them.
Yolanda was the beloved wife of Ralph Di Girolamo, and the devoted mother of Attorney Richard Di Girolamo, both of Winchester and Somerville. She was the loving grandmother of Assunta Di Girolamo of Lynnfield, and dear sister of the late Dominic Di Martino, Mary Giaquinto, Joseph Di Martino, Adeline "Lee" Consolazio and Rudolph Di Martino. Yolanda is survived by her niece Dorothy Filteau, and many other loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Tuesday, March 5th from 4 through 8 PM, and again on Wednesday, March 6th, at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Eulalia Church, 50 Ridge St., Winchester, at 10 AM. Services will conclude with entombment at Carthage Mausoleum 1 in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
