Brenda “Sue” Williams ,76, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, passed away Friday, March 1,2024.
Memorial graveside services will be held 4 PM, Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Evergreen Cemetery, Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Chris Ramsey officiating. The family will greet friends at the cemetery following the service.
Sue Williams was born June 1,1947 in Fitzgerald, Georgia, to the late William Henry Luke and Mary Norris Luke. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church where she formerly sang in the choir.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Mickey McSwain of Valdosta; her son and daughter-in-law, Clif and Judy Harrison of Lake Park; her three grandchildren: Maggie McSwain, Dylan McSwain and Hara Harrison; two sisters: Linda Yarbrough and Janice Pitts; and nieces and a nephew: Lisa Jones, Lee Yarbrough, Amy West Cone, and Michelle Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Billy Luke.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to Sue’s caregiver of many years, Bernice Butler.
