Triantafyllos Alexiadis, 78, of Worcester, died Wednesday, February 28th in St. Vincent Hospital. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria (Dimtsiou) Alexiadis; his two daughters, Rodi and Joanna Alexiadis of Worcester; his brother, Giorgios Alexiadis and his wife, Rebecca of Serres, Hrisohorafa, Greece; three sisters, Athena Alexiadis and Susan Panagiotidis both of Paxton and Pagona Kadambinakis and her husband, John of Pomfret, CT and many nephews and nieces.
He was born in Serres, Hrisohorafa, Greece the son of Ioannis and Rodi (Dimopoulos) Alexiadis and came to Worcester in 1978. He had served in the Greek Air Force and owned and operated a grocery store before retiring.
His funeral will be held on Monday, March 4th with a service at 11:00 a.m. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery. Friends and family are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service in the Cathedral. O'CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME is assisting the family with arrangements.
