Lillie Mae McDaniel, 71, of Omega passed away Monday, November 22, 2004, in Jacksonville, Florida. A graveside funeral service was held for Miss McDaniel at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 24, 2004, at Pineview Holiness Baptist Church Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Elmer Golden, Jr. officiated.
Thomas Plymel, Sherman Reneer, Warren Walker, Bobby Lee McDaniel, Gene Taylor, Ren Walker, Chris Chandler and Greg Chandler served as pallbearers.
Born July 6, 1932, in Tift County, Miss McDaniel was the daughter of the late Jesse McDaniel and Mary Clements McDaniel. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Henry McDaniel and Willie McDaniel; and two sisters, Inez McDaniel Plymel and Tillie McDaniel Taylor. She was a homemaker.
Miss McDaniel is survived by one sister, Evelyn Whiddon of Tifton; and several nieces and nephews.
