Albert Wade Murray, 39, of Tifton passed away Saturday, May 1, 2004, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2004, at Brookfield United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Warrener of Albany officiating. Mr. Murray was laid to rest at Lawrence Cemetery.
Greg Perry, Randy Fullington, Steven Dukes, Joseph Ellis, Bo Hubbard, Brandon Hubbard, Dale Murray and Chester Murray served as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Charles Thomas, Kenneth Dukes, Bill Dukes and Robert Hubbard.
Born June 17, 1964, in Fernandina, Florida, Mr. Murray was the son of George Murray and Virginia Dukes Murray. He was a security guard at Abbeville State Prison; and he was a member of Brookfield United Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Murray is survived by his fiance', Kee Neo of Singapore; three sisters, Tammy Curry of Sycamore and Gina Hubbard and Keisha Garner, both of Tifton; his maternal grandmother, Bernice Coarsey Dukes; and his paternal grandparents, Harlan and Vienna Murray.
