Gloria B. Rossetti (Testa) of Medford passed away on February 25, 2024. She was 96 years old. Gloria was the beloved wife of the late Peter R. Rossetti. Born in Boston, she was the cherished daughter of the late Josephine (Capone) and Giuseppe Testa.
Gloria was employed as a nurse’s aide at a local nursing home for over 20 years where she shared her compassionate nature with the residents. She was a strong family matriarch who always led the family by example to be independent and empathetic to others. On Sundays the family would gather for wonderful dinners she prepared. No one left without a meal to go. A truly beautiful lady inside and out.
Gloria was the devoted mother of Arthur Rossetti of Medford and the late Bernice Martino. She was the adored grandmother of Olivia Rossetti, Craig Ferguson and the late Daniel Rossetti and loving great-grandmother of Matteo Cunha. Gloria was the dear sister of Jean Boccuzzi of Wilmington, and the late Phillip Testa, Fred Testa, Albert Testa, Helen Levita and Irene DeMelis.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home 306 Main St. Medford on Monday, March 4, from 9-11AM, followed by a funeral service in the funeral home beginning at 11AM. Relatives and friends are cordially invited.
Services will conclude with burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, Memorials Processing, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105-9959, as a tribute to her kind and gentle nature.
