GILMANTON ---- Armand “Sparky” E. Lemire Jr., 65, of Griffin Road, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.
Sparky was born on May 20, 1958, in Manchester, NH, the son of Armand and Ramona (Renaud) Lemire.
He enjoyed motorcycling, snowmobiling, traveling for family vacations and listening to his favorite band, The Beatles. Sparky was teaching himself piano and was playing from The Beatles songbook.
Sparky is survived by his loving wife Jane (Pilla) Lemire; devoted son Jonathan Lemire of Gilmanton, NH; daughter Heather Lemire, of Portland, ME; stepdaughters who he loved and raised as his own, Sophie Lemire, of Laconia, NH, and Mia (Lemire) Marfongelli and her husband Connor, of Milton, NH; four grandchildren, Makayla, Lucas, Bailee and Khloe; and sisters, Diane Baines and her husband Al, of Goffstown, NH, and Jeanne Bickel, of Somersworth, NH. He is predeceased by his parents.
Calling Hours will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10:00am-12:00pm, in the Carriage House at Wilkinson-Beane-Simoneau-Paquette Funeral Home, 164 Pleasant Street, Laconia, NH 03246.
Burial will take place in the spring, on Sparky’s birthday, Monday, May 20, 2024, at 10:00am, at Beech Grove Cemetery, Province Road, Gilmanton, NH.
