Billy Eugene Morgan, 62, of Sumner passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2044, at his residence. A memorial service was held for Mr. Morgan at 4:00 p.m. Friday, November 19, 2004, at his residence. A eulogy was given by Betty Morgan.
Born November 10, 1942, in Folkston, Mr. Morgan was the son of the late George Morgan and Pauline Johnson Morgan. He was also preceded in death by two brothers. He was a farmer.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his wife, Beulah May Manders Morgan of Sumner; five sons, Tommy Morgan of Paintsville, Kentucky, Gregory Morgan of Oakfield, George Morgan of Sumner, Bobby Morgan of Ellijay and Jamie Baker of Tifton; two brothers, Bobby Thrift and Donny Morgan, both of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Bonnie Simpson of El Paso, Texas, Debra Coker of Virginia and Diane Morgan of Tifton; and four step-grandchildren, Dillon, Miranda, Casey and Lisa.
