Tariea J. Goehring
March 2, 1951- February 25, 2024
Tariea J. Goehring, 72, of Anderson, passed away following an unexpected illness on Sunday, February 25, 2024 at Community Hospital in Anderson.
She was born on March 2, 1951 in Anderson, the daughter of Millard L. and Ruth A. (Hensley) Goehring. Tariea was an elementary school teacher in Anderson for 35 years, teaching primarily at Forrest Hills, Greenbriar and Northside. Her family was very important to her and she loved animals, and enjoyed Zumba. She was a member of the Anderson Federation of Teachers.
She is survived by her siblings, Karla (Mike) Montgomery and Pete (Lynn) Goehring and their families.
Tariea was preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 4, 2024 at 11:30 AM at Rozelle-Johnson Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will also be held on Monday, from 10 AM until the service at 11:30 AM.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
