Patsy Caroline Stewart (Mathis) was born in Greenville, South Carolina on December, 17 1936. Patsy grew up in Greenville, where she attended grade school and high school. Patsy and Delane Stewart were married on July 31, 1954 in Greenville. The couple moved to Western Washington and Patsy worked as a welder in the shipyards in Puget Sound. In 1970, they moved to Prosser, Washington and Patsy worked at Twin City Foods until she retired in 1995.
Patsy enjoyed baking for her family, growing flowers and loved and cherished all of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Fraternal Order at Eagles and the Southern Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Stewart (Leslie) their children Nicholas, Nathan, Amber and Andra; son, James Stewart (Carol) their children Tasha, Wyndi, Tara and Allen; daughter, Sue (Tom) Powell their children Amy and Tiffany; son, Tom (Johnna) their children Jason and Johnnae; daughter, Robin (Todd) their children, Jennifer, Johnathan; and son, Joshua Stewart and numerous great grandchildren.
Pasty was preceded in death by her husband, Delane Stewart; son, David Stewart; parents, Issac and Arnie Mathis, three sisters, Dorthy Johnson, Geraldeen Pittman and Peggy Mathis; and her brother James Mathis.
