Kesner Bernadin (62) of Brockton died February 21st in the HopeHealth Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, Rhode Island. He was the husband of the late Colette Bernadin D’Haiti.
Kesner Bernadin was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti son of the late Andrew Galette and Alourdes Bernadin. He migrated to this country in 1990, where he stayed in New York for about a year, and then he moved to Philly for 10 years. Eventually, he found his way to Brockton MA, where he lived his life with his family.
He was a very smart man. He studied engineering in Haiti and then went back to school in the States to study airplane engineering . His work ethics was amazing. He would do any legal job to provide for his family regardless of how many degrees he had. Kesner worked as a self employed maintenance technician and was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Brockton.
He enjoyed fishing, eating, telling jokes and was known as a man that could fix it all. He had a special relationship with different members of the family. He was always helping someone: if you needed it and he had it, you would get it from him. Also had a nickname for all his family members.
Kesner is survived by his daughter Marcia Bernadin, his son Kenny Bernadin, 2 brothers, Ernst Bernadin and Marc Galette, sisters, Danielle Michel, Marie Claudette, Mireille Martinez, Marie Lourde Galette, Foufoune Maignan, and Viviane Galette; a granddaughter Samara Bernadin; and nieces, Judith Papillon, Tania Michel, Stephanie Blake, Gina Ciceron, and Rachelle Pagbaya. He is also survived by his nephews Joshua Bernadin, Jemar Adam, Wolff Guerrier, Patrick Guerrier, Renan MichelJunior, Kevin Michel, and Marc Galette; and by loving relatives, including Yardly Bernard, Carline Coralien, Maryse Galette, and countless others whose names could fill this page.
He died 3 months after the passing of his beloved sister, Yolene Adam.
He was a loving husband, an amazing father, a reliable brother, an astonishing cousin, and the greatest Godfather anyone could ever have. Also loved to spoil his nieces and nephews.
