Groton- Anna Pennella, 89, of Groton passed away at home, February 23, 2024. Ann was born April 16, 1934 in Stonington-Pawcatuck, CT to Ernest A Bergeson and Elsie A Bjorkman. Ann was married to Frank J. Pennella in 1955. Frank J. predeceased her in 2022. Her son Frank E., predeceased her in 2007. She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Tony) DeVittori of Vermont and her beloved daughter-in-law, Kathy (Ceravolo) Pennella of Gales Ferry.
Per Ann's request there will be no services. Donations in Ann's name maybe made to St Judes Hospital or donor's choice.
GROTON: Anna E. Pennella, 89, of Groton died Friday, February 23, 2024 at her home. She is predeceased by her husband, Franklin James Pennella who died in 2022.
