FALL RIVER - Ilda Teixeira, 68, of 30 Lester St., Fall River, MA, died Monday at home. She is survived by one brother: Liberal Teixeira of NC, one niece: Lucilia DeSa of No. Dartmouth, MA, one nephew: Michael Teixeira of NC. She was also sister of the late Leonilde Teixeira.
Born in Pico de Pedro, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel Teixeira and the late Eliza (Jesus Pereira) Teixeira. She was a Fall River resident since 1972. Before retiring, she was a Housekeeper at Catholic Memorial Home. She was a member of Santo Christo Church.
Her funeral will take place from the Manuel Rogers & Sons Funeral Home, 1521 No. Main St., Fall River on Thursday at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Santo Christo Church, Columbia St., Fall River at 9:00 A.M. Internment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 5-9 P.M.
