Beulah Mae Peacock Jackson, 78, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, July 13, 2004, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2004, at Tifton's First Assembly of God with the Rev. Eddie Hutcheson and the Rev. O. L. Stokes officiating. Mrs. Jackson was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Jackson's nephews served as pallbearers.
Born November 13, 1925, in Soperton, Mrs. Jackson was the daughter of the late Freeman Joe Peacock and Annie Elizabth Prather Peacock. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Silas Wilburt Jackson; one daughter, two brothers; four sisters; and two grandchildren. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Tifton's First Assembly of God.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by one son, Danny Jackson of Tifton; one daughter, Judy Funderburk of Tifton; two sisters, Corine Williams of Ashburn and Mildred McIntyre of Omega; and four grandchildren.
