Louise Emily Wentworth
FRYEBURG- Louise passed quietly in her sleep on February 21, 2024 after a long battle with dementia. She has spent the last few years at Bella Point in Fryeburg, which is an assisted living facility. This way she could be close to her daughter and her family.
She was born to Wilford and Leona Hartford on April 26, 1940, and was raised in Lebanon, Maine. She attended schools in Lebanon ME and Rochester, NH. She got married to G. Robert Wentworth in June 1968 who went home to be with the Lord in June of 2020. She gave birth to their only child in June 1969, Rebecca. She and Robert raised their daughter in Lebanon and West Newfield.
Louise had a love for her family, scenery, and flowers, as well as her artwork. When living in West Newfield, she liked sitting outside in different areas of the fields and drawing different pictures of flowers and sometimes different animals. She would eventually paint these pictures using different types of paint. Her favorite was watercolor paints.
She had a great love for her Heavenly Father and the charity work done through Operation Christmas Child. Louise loved giving to this program through Cornerstone Gospel Church in Naples either with items to help pack shoeboxes or money to help ship shoeboxes, some years she would do both. In the more recent years she would try to do both as she knew no shoebox would be rejected.
She is survived by her sisters Sylvia and Marcia, her brother Roger, her daughter Rebecca and son-in-law Peter, her granddaughter Sharalee, as well as many nephews and nieces.
The memorial service for Louise will be Saturday March 2nd at 1:00pm at Cornerstone Gospel Church in Naples.
