Glenda Gean Morgan Hale, 73, of Tifton passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Willson Hospice House in Albany. Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 23, 2024, at New River Free Holiness Church in Berrien County. Mrs. Hale’s son, Dion Hale, will give a eulogy. Family members will share memories of Mrs. Hale. Mrs. Hale will be laid to rest at New River Free Holiness Church Cemetery in Berrien County with the Brother Charles Connell officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 22, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Mrs. Hale will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service.
Clay Connell, Brady Connell, Ty Bennett, Gage Hale, Garrett Myers, Grant Brown, Owen Hale and Colyn Hale will serve as pallbearers.
Born September 25, 1950, in Blount County, Alabama, Mrs. Hale was the daughter of the late Ollon Morgan and Janave Huffstutler Morgan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Terry Wayne Hale; three brothers, Roger Morgan, Charles Morgan and Clyde Morgan; and one sister, Jeroline Miles. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of New River Free Holiness Church in Berrien County.
Mrs. Hale is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Dion and Miranda Hale and Tracy and Ashley Hale, all of Tifton; four brothers and three sisters-in-law, J. P. and Myrtice Morgan of Nashville, Wayne and Pat Morgan, all of Tifton and Edsol and Anna Morgan and Bill Morgan, all of Atlanta; one sister, Anita Brown of Tifton; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Charles and Joan Connell, Larry and Darlene Hale, Rhonda Hale and Calvin Hale; seven grandchildren, Colyn Hale, Owen Hale, Aubree Hale, Gage Hale, Gabriel Reyes, Isaiah Reyes and Olivia Reyes; and a special friend, Bobbie Laplante.
