Marilyn Leardi (O’Brien) 84 died on Saturday, February 17, 2024 after a period of declining health related to Parkinson’s disease.
She was born in Leicester to Irene (Reeves) and Stanley Tibbetts. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 33 years Peter Leardi, and by her grandson Andrew John Daigneault Jr. who died of a rare form of cancer in 2022.
She is survived by her children Andrew Daigneault of Pardeeville, Wisconsin, Richard Daigneault and his wife Dawna of Oxford, Michelle Hannan of Southborough, Jeannine Sudol and her husband Mark of Westborough, and Gina Sabatini and her fiancé Bob Edwards of Sutton. She leaves twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren along with many nieces and nephews. She also leaves her sister Judith McMahon of Holden and her brother David Tibbetts of Leicester.
Marilyn worked as a hairdresser in Auburn for many years before opening her own business out of her home in Worcester. She was a talented hairdresser and had a loyal following.
In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, bowling, and especially dining out. Marilyn and Pete had their favorite restaurants and would drive hours looking for the next great spot.
One of Marilyn’s greatest accomplishments was instilling the value of hard work in her five children. For this her children are eternally grateful to her.
