Antonino Annaloro passed away peacefully at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Sunday, February 18th just days after his beloved wife Maria Rosa. He was 92. Born and raised in Riesi, Sicily, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincenzo and Maria (Capizzi) Annaloro.
A devoted father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Antonino worked hard to provide for his family. He had a long career as a machinist with Walbar where he made precision aircraft components for aircraft engines made by GE. In his youth Antonino was an avid soccer player. He loved fishing and keeping a beautiful garden with his wife, Maria Rosa. He had a lot of fun at family get-togethers and cookouts and especially enjoyed dancing with Maria Rosa. He was a decent man who will be missed by all who knew him.
The beloved husband of the late Maria Rosa (Giambarresi) Annaloro, Antonino was the devoted father to Joanne Lena, Angelo Correnti and his wife Karen, Marie Annaloro, and JoJo Komorny, her late husband Keith Komorny and her fiance’ Dino Stigliano, all of Medford. He was a loving grandfather to Danielle Correnti, Nicole Hallahan, Anthony Correnti, Gianna Komorny, and Gabriella Komorny. He was a loving great-grandfather to Hannah Correnti, Mikayla Hallahan, Nicolas Correnti and Isabella Hallahan.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, on Monday, February 19th from 4-8 PM and again on Tuesday morning, February 20th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 10 AM. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
