Michael Charles Ryan, affectionately known as Mike, of Bellingham, and a former resident of Franklin, passed away at home on February 15th 2024. Born to Thomas W Ryan & Eleanor Sperrazza. Survived by his wife Breda (Kirwan). His daughter Sarah Ryan & partner Kevin Downing, son Michael Ryan & his fiance Michaela Hughes, and their mother Karen (Harris) Catanzariti. Brother Thomas Ryan & his wife Shirley, sister Maureen Doten & her partner Richard Kosh, sister Joanna Ryan & her partner Rex Brown. He is also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.
Mike enjoyed singing and playing the guitar. He played in several bands throughout the years. He enjoyed bike riding, often participating in the Pan Mass Challenge & Best Buddies charity events. He loved to travel extensively, with his favorite places being Ireland & Malta. He enjoyed watching sports with family and friends, especially the Celtics. He also really enjoyed spending time with his best buddy, his dog "Jameson"
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Wednesday February 21st, at 10AM from the Charles F. Oteri and Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 11AM. To view the Mass stmarysfranklin.org
Interment will be held privately.
