DRISCOLL, Lois A. (Massarelli) of Walpole and Ft. Myers, FL, formerly of Dedham, MA passed away peacefully with family by her side on February 11, 2024. Daughter of the late Michael and Marie Massarelli. Wife of the late David Driscoll. Devoted mother to Cynthia Shruhan and her husband Bob of Sharon, MA and Cheryl O’Brien and her husband Jimmy of Roslindale, MA. Loving grandmother to her ‘ladybugs’ Adrienne Shruhan, Alyssa Todd, Kayla Stevenson and her husband Scott, and Kendra Simpson and her husband Scott. Cherished great grandmother to Evan, Cole, Brooklynn, Jimmy and Sonny. Pre deceased by her brothers Richard, Ronald and Robert Massarelli and her sister Claire Yanni. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Lois was born and raised in Dedham. Employed by FM Global for 40 years. Upon retiring she enjoyed splitting her time between Walpole and Florida. She loved fun times with her family and friends, as well as watching sports, playing tennis, traveling and the warm sun filled days at the beach and in the pool.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, February 19th from 4-8 PM at William J. Gormley Funeral Home, 2055 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA. Funeral from the funeral home Tuesday, February 20th at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Theresa of Avila Church, 2078 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High Street, Canton, MA. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
