Scott was born in Attleboro, MA on August 29th and was the son of the late Elizabeth (Perreault) Piper and stepson of the late Arlon (Buzzy) Piper and the son of Raymond W. Merigold Jr. and stepson of Tracy L. Merigold both of Norton, MA.
He graduated from North Attleboro High School and lived his life in the greater Attleboro area. He enjoyed remote control cars, playing his guitar, vacations in New Hampshire, and had a love for animals. Scott had many beloved pets during his life time.
He was a talented machinist and held positions throughout the area in the metals industry.
Scott leaves behind his daughters Jaiden Merigold of Fort Worth, TX and Karissa Merigold of Pawtucket, RI; brother, Raymond W. Merigold III and his wife Jennifer both of North Attleboro, MA; half-sister Jennifer L. Smith and her husband Kevin both of Norton, MA; nieces and nephew, Lynne, Nora and Callahan.
Scott also had a large extended family of many aunts, uncles and cousins that loved him dearly and will miss him.
A graveside service will be held for Scott at Mt. Hope Cemetery, North Attleboro MA On Wednesday, February 21, at 11:00 am. All are invited to attend a collation at 128 Oak St. Norton, MA 02762 immediately following the service.
