Gilford-Dorothy Deborah Quinn, 73, of Lake Shore Road died Sunday morning, July 9, 2006 at Lakes Region General Hospital after a lengthy illness. She had been a resident of Gilford, NH for over 30 years coming from Exeter, NH.
Dorothy was the daughter of the late Walter H., Sr. and Melvina Deborah (Crandall) Packer. She was born in Newburyport, MA on July 10, 1932 where she was raised and schooled, graduating from Newburyport High School.
Dorothy was a communicant of Our Lady of the Lakes Church, and a member of its Ladies Guild. Dorothy had a true love for animals and their well being.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Quinn in 1994.
Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Robin G. Packer of Ossipee, NH, three brothers, Walter H. Packer of Medford, MA, Leslie G. Packer of Amesbury, MA, and George C. Packer of Newburyport, MA, two sisters, Judith E. Kennedy of Newburyport, MA and Susan B. Lee of Newbury, MA.
A Service of Remembrance was held on Saturday July 22nd, 2006 at 11:00 am at the Simoneau-Paquette Memorial Home, 139 Church Street, Laconia, NH using the Union Avenue Chapel. Family and friends were invited to attend.
