Susan Annette Schneider, 66, of Prosser, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024.
Susan was born on September 23, 1957 in Longview, Washington to Richard and Caroline (Harrison) Tompkins. She was raised and educated in Winlock and graduated from Toledo High School in 1975. Susan married Jared Schneider on May 11, 2004 in Battle Ground and soon after the couple made their home in Prosser. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker for her family. She enjoyed baking, sewing and gardening among many other hobbies. She attended Bethel Church and was a devoted follower of the Lord.
Susan is survived by her husband, Jared Schneider of Prosser; son, Shawn (Katherine) Willis of Clatskanie, OR; daughters, Sarah (Ryan) Jackson of Vancouver, WA and Rebecca Schneider of Prosser; five grandchildren; brother Rod Tompkins; sister Karen Leseman. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother Betty Petty; and her brother, Rick Tompkins.
