Bruno M. Aurigemma passed away peacefully at the Winchester Hospital on February 9th. He was 93. Raised in Revere, he was the son of the late Alberico and Loretta (Vadaro) Aurigemma.
Bruno lived in Somerville all of his married life where he and his beloved wife Jackie raised their three children. Bruno enjoyed a long career with Honeywell Bull as a softwear engineer. He was a loyal and committed parishioner of the former Saint Polycarp parish in Somerville. There he helped run a very active bowling league, was a member of the Men’s Club and of the Holy Name Society.
The beloved husband of the late Archetta M. (Matarazzo) “Jackie” Aurigemma who passed away in 2018, he was a devoted father to Leonard Aurigemma of Cambridge, Michael Aurigemma and his wife Jane of Medford and Laurie Aurigemma and her partner Crayola of Salem. Bruno was a loving grandfather to Nicole Carter and her husband Thomas of North Andover, and Michael Aurigemma, Jr and his wife Elin of Somerville. He was a loving great-grandfather to Camille and Adeline Carter. He was the dear brother of the late Leonard and Anthony Aurigemma.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Friday, February 16 from 4-7 PM and again on Saturday morning at 10 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
